Malaysia Airlines launching fifth daily Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok flights from October 28

Malaysia’s national flag carrier Malaysia Airlines recently announced it will be launching its fifth daily flights services between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok in October end this year.

The airline in a statement said that the fifth daily Malaysia Airlines flights on Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok route will begin operations from October 28, 2012.

The launch of the fifth daily flights between the capital cities of the two countries – Malaysian and Thailand – would also mark the 40th anniversary of the flight operations between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

The airline said that it will be deploying a 16-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft to operate the flights on Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok route. The aircraft is configured with 16 seats in business class and 144 seats in Economy Class.

According to Malaysia Airlines, a total capacity of 5,568 seats every week would be offered in each direction. With the launch of fifth daily flight on Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok route, the current capacity has been increased by 25 percent.
