Malaysia Airlines launching flights to Katmandu from September

Malaysia Airlines recently announced it will be launching its flights services to Nepal next month. The airline in a statement said that Malaysia Airlines flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kathmandu will start operations from September 1, 2012. The airline will be operating thrice weekly flights services on Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur route.

To celebrate the launch of the new flights services to the Nepalese capital, Malaysia Airlines’ travel arm MASholidays is offering the customers a range of attractive holiday package deals to Nepal.

The thrice weekly direct services between Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Fadhilah Mustaffa, Senior Manager of MASholidays, said that there is a great potential is starting direct flight services to Kathmandu.

She said that Kathmandu being a popular tourist destination, there had been an encouraging response from Malaysian travelers of late. Keeping in view the launch of new flights services, MASholidays is offering an exclusive four days/three nights holiday package to its customers, and which has already been sold out.
