Malaysia Airlines receives second Airbus A380 aircraft

Malaysia Airlines recently announced it has received its second Airbus A380 aircraft, which arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The airline in a statement said that after the acquisition of the new Airbus A380 aircraft, Malaysia airlines flights between Kuala Lumpur and London has started operating from August 12, 2012 on a daily basis.

The airline’s first flight on Kuala Lumpur-London route with the help of Airbus A380 aircraft has been operating ever since July 1, 2012 thrice weekly. Now, with the second Airbus A380 aircraft joining the fleet the airline will be offering a daily Airbus A380 service on this route.

The airline had ordered six airbus A380 aircrafts, of which it has already received two of them and has since included these in its fleet.

According to the airline, daily Malaysia Airlines flights would be introduced on the Sydney-Kuala Lumpur route by the end of November this year after the third Airbus A380 aircraft is included in the fleet. The airline would also be offering A380 service between London and Sydney in future.
