Philippine Airlines assures safety to passengers despite outsourcing program

Philippine Airlines, in an official statement, assured its passengers complete safety amid protests by its employees over its outsourcing program that became effective from October 1, 2011. The airline stated that safety is and shall always be its top priority and stressed that its safety protocols have not been compromised; even after its outsourcing program was implemented this October.

The airline came out in the open to reassure its passengers as its former employees staged strong protests over the outsourcing program and tried to confuse passengers on the issue of the safety of Philippine Airlines flight operations.

A top official from Philippine Airlines said that all the aircrafts deployed on its flights are released only after undertaking thorough assessment and safety checks. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has also deputed a surveillance inspection team to constantly check safety issues pertaining airlines operations

The airline cautioned the passengers to beware of the false propaganda and disinformation campaign unleashed by its former employees who had lost their jobs because of its outsourcing program.
