Philippine Airlines passenger traffic expected to increase by 12 percent in 2012

Philippine Airlines flights are expected to carry more passengers in 2012, according to projections made by the airline.

Philippine Airlines in a recent statement said that the airline expects to breach the 10-million-passenger mark by the end of 2012. The number of passengers has been projected increase by 12 percent.

The airline further said that the passenger load factor is also similarly expected to improve to about 80 percent for 2012.

Considering the bright prospects, the airline has unveiled a new marketing campaign aimed at making the passengers fall in love with Philippine Airline (PAL) all over again.

According to the airline, the newly-launched marketing campaign “Love, Your PAL” is meant to show Philippine Airline’s gratitude to its 300 million passengers that it carried over the last seven decades, ever since its maiden flight in 1941. The campaign is also an invitation for other air travelers, particularly foreigners, to renew ties with the airline, which has embodied the best that the Philippines can offer to the world.

The airline is celebrating its 71st founding anniversary, and has launched “Love, Your PAL” campaign to mark the occasion.
