Philippine Airlines to introduce more international routes

Philippine Airlines is currently undertaking an aggressive expansion plan and will be acquiring 100 additional aircrafts in a few years.

The airline recently announced that more Philippine Airlines flights will be introduced on several international routes in future.

The airline stated that it is mulling acquiring 100 additional aircrafts within the next 5 years and will be opening more routes on its international network.
 
The 100 more aircrafts to be acquired is in addition to the existing 38 aircrafts in the airline’s fleet. The airline recently purchased three Boeing 777-300 aircrafts.

Chris Lebumfacil, Philippine Airlines’ Passenger Sales Manager for the Visayas, said that the airline is on an expansion program because of the increasing number of international travelers visiting Philippine every year.

Philippine Airlines is planning to begin its flights services to New Zealand in future. Currently, the airline is also operating its flights to 6 cities in Europe and North America. Apart from this, the airline is also serving 15 East Asian destinations and will include 17 more cities on its East Asia flight network.
