Qatar Airways new Boeing 787 Dreamliner seats and features unveiled

Passengers taking Qatar Airways flights will now get a whole new experience when they travel on its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner this summer.

The airline recently unveiled the features of its new Economy and Business Class seats on its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to be added to the Qatar Airways fleet this summer.

Qatar Airways in a statement said that its new Boeing 787s will feature a total of 254 seats configured in two classes – 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class.

According to the airline, the layout with a 1–2–1 configuration in Business Class is more typical of a First Class cabin. Each of the passengers traveling in Business Class will be assured of direct aisle access. The business class seats have been exclusively designed for the airline. The business class seats also convert into a generous 80-inch long, 30-inch wide flat bed with plenty of legroom.

The Economy Class is configured 3-3-3, with the Recaro-produced seats embodying the latest design technology and materials. The slim-line seat design is set at a pitch of 32 inches, together with a 16.9-inch width. Each seat in Economy Class is also fitted with 10.6-inch seat back TV monitors. The passengers are also offered Wi-Fi and GSM telephony options, so that they can remain in touch with the ground during their flight.
