Qatar Airways has for the first time gained recognition as one of world’s most powerful brands. The airline became the only company in Qatar to find a place in the list of top 500 globally ranked for 2016.
Brand Finance, an independent world-renowned UK-based brand valuation consultancy, has listed Qatar Airways in its annual ranking as one of the most powerful global brand. The brand valuation evaluator has gained international recognition for extensively analyzing the most successful business organizations throughout the world thus producing an exclusive list of valuable brands.
Qatar Airways became the ninth airline and fourth Middle Eastern company to earn a place in Brand Finance’s 2016 Global 500 list. Qatar’s national carrier ever since its re-launch in 1997 has carved a niche for itself creating a strong global brand identity that aptly resonates with its award-winning service. The luxury airline has been widely appreciated for offering the best experience to its customers whether on the ground or in the air. The airline’s services across its travel classes are considered to be the world’s best. Above all, the airline’s state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system Oryx One is said to be the most innovative in the global commercial aviation industry.

Presently, Qatar Airways is among the world’s fastest growing airlines. It has acquiring a new aircraft every 10 days on average, which will continue throughout 2016. During the first two months of this year the airline also launched flights to Ras Al Khaimah and Los Angeles. The airline will be further expanding its global network and would be launching new flights to Atlanta, Yerevan, Adelaide, Birmingham, Boston and Sydney during 2016.
