Qatar Airways to launch Doha-Perth flights from July 3

Qatar Airways recently announced it will be launching flights to its second Australian destination in July this year.

The airline in a statement said Qatar Airways flights between Doha and Perth will be launched from July 3, 2012. Melbourne is the first destination in Australia where Qatar Airways began operating its flights services.

Passengers booking Qatar Airways flights tickets to Perth will be able to enjoy the service three times every week.

The nonstop flights service from Perth to Doha will provide opportunity to passengers to connect to more than 110 international destinations.

The airline will deploy a Boeing 777 aircraft to operate flights on Doha-Perth route. The new flights services will also provide a great opportunity to travelers from Perth to conveniently connect to popular European destinations as well, such as London, Stockholm, Paris, Barcelona, Vienna and Athens.

Akbar Al Baker, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, said that Perth will be the airline’s seventh new destination to be unveiled in 2012.
