Royal Jordanian Airlines may reinstate recent route cuts

Royal Jordanian Airlines recently announced that it is considering restoring some routes where flights had stopped operating due to political turmoil in the Middle East region.

The airline has said that once the ongoing turmoil in the region subsides and yields start recovering the routes which had been curtailed will be restored.

According to an announcement made by the airline this month, Royal Jordanian flights to Al-Ain in the UAE would stop operating. Besides, the passengers will also not be able to make Royal Jordanian Airlines flight reservations to Munich and Brussels as flights to these destinations will also be stopped.

The airline has also said that it will reduce frequencies on routes to Amsterdam, Geneva, Rome, Vienna and Zurich, as well as Amman, Jordan; Colombo, Sri Lanka; and Kartoum, Sudan. It also said that there may be even more cuts later this year depending on advance bookings.
