Scandinavian Airlines named most punctual European carrier

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has recently been officially declared as one of the most punctual carrier for the third time consecutively by flight stats.

The officials of the leading European carried have expressed happiness with the airline being named as the most punctual European carrier. The officials said that they have been trying their level best and ensure that top quality flight service is offered to the passengers right on time.

Scandinavian Airlines flights have been acknowledged as the best for on-time arrivals. The airline said that it operated a total of 239,320 flights in 2011, out of which 208,972 Scandinavian Airlines flights arrived on time.

Considering the past performance, even the arrival statistics for 2011 is also an improvement from 2010 punctuality by 86 percent and 89 percent from 2009.
