Singapore Airlines direct flights to Wuhan from April 24

Singapore Airlines recently announced that it will be launching direct flights to Wuhan from Singapore on April 24, 2012.

Singapore Airlines flights to Wuhan, the central Chinese city, are expected to boost business relations and provide seamless connections between Singapore and Wuhan.

According to the airline, three roundtrip flights will be operated between the international hub Singapore and Hubei’s provincial capital Wuhan on a weekly basis.

Singapore Airlines in a statement said that the direct flights between Singapore and Wuhan will serve the booming trade between the two sides, which is quite apparent by the year-on-year increase of trade volume and greater Singapore investment in Wuhan.

The statement also disclosed that Wuhan is also planning to set up a Singapore consulate to facilitate the visa process.
