Singapore Airlines increasing flights to Australia and Japan

Singapore Airlines recently announced it will be increasing its flights services to Australia and Japan to tap the increased demand.

The airline in a statement said that Singapore Airlines flights would be increased on Melbourne and Adelaide routes in Australia, as well as Fukuoka and Osaka routes in Japan.

A spokesperson of Singapore Airlines said that the airline will be increasing its flights to Melbourne to four times daily instead of the existing three. The airline will also be increasing its flights to Adelaide to 12 times every week instead of the existing 10 times weekly service. With the additional flights now, the total number of weekly flights to Australia would be increased to 121.

Singapore Airlines also indicated that it will be increasing its flights frequency to the Japanese cities of Osaka and Fukuoka.

Apart from this, the airline has also decided to operate daily flights on the Singapore-Moscow-Houston route starting from May 20 through August 11, 2013 during its northern summer scheduled.
