Singapore Airlines seeking more partnership tie-ups in India and China

Singapore Airlines flights are more likely to see further expansion in India and China in the future. The airline recently indicated that it is looking forward to more partnership tie-ups in India and China.

Singapore Airlines, by seeking partnership tie-ups in these two important Asian countries, is aiming to sustain its load factor significantly.

The airline is planning these partnership tie-ups on similarly lines to its collaboration with Virgin Australia, which helped Singapore Airlines to open up another 22 points in Australia through this deal.

According to travel experts, if Singapore Airlines succeeds in entering into partnership tie-ups in these two countries then it would be able to increase its passenger yield in the immediate term by the second half of 2012, despite the consecutive six-month downtrend in yield previously.

Even Singapore Airlines management is quite optimistic going by the current trends. The airline has cited improved bookings and the likelihood of yields improving after six consecutive months of decline. The airline says it is optimistic on its outlook moving forward.
