Singapore Airlines ‘Visit Australia Airpass’ launched

Singapore Airlines recently announced the launch of its ‘Visit Australia Airpass’. This initiative underlines the importance of the new alliance of Singapore Airlines and Virgin Australia and the benefits to be provided for overseas travelers and the Australian tourism industry.

Passengers using ‘Visit Australia Airpass’ and taking Singapore Airlines flights as well as by SilkAir will be provided attractive and flexible access to Australia’s main cities and iconic destinations across Virgin Australia’s domestic network.

The international customers booking SilkAir and Singapore Airlines flights tickets will be provided opportunity to visit up to domestic destinations at great rates on any given trip to Australia when using the airpass.

According to the airline, a total of 29 Australian cities are covered under the ‘Visit Australia Airpass’ and the customers will be offered a choice of itineraries across 61 domestic routes operated by Virgin Australia.

The airpass includes reciprocal frequent flyer program benefits and lounge access for eligible customers. It also enables customers to travel to a range of idyllic destinations like Broome, Darwin, Hamilton Island, Hobart, Uluru and the Whitsundays on one ticket, with terminal transfers, in-flight entertainment (where available) and meals included.
