Get free 8,000 Spirit miles if feeling wronged by any airline

Low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines has decided to improve its image and dispel the myth of being an airline which loves money more than its customers. The airline has devised a new plan to better its negative image with that of a positive one.

In a unique experiment to attract passengers of other airlines in a big way, Spirit Airlines has announced that those customers who feel betrayed or having being wronged or cheated by other airlines can now look up to Spirit Airlines.

The airline has decided to “hug the haters” and offer 8,000 free Spirit miles. Up to one billion free airline miles will be offered by the airline. Spirit Airlines in a statement said that the passengers who have had bad experience with any airline, including Spirit Airlines, will be required to vent out their frustration by logging on to the website “HateThousandMiles.com”, which has been specifically set up for the purpose. The frustrated passengers will have to relate about their bad experience in 140 characters or less.

The awarding of 8,000 free miles will bring passengers closer to a free flight. But in a smart move, Spirit Airlines has indicated that for a free flight the minimum number of miles earned is 10,000. This will be therefore 2,000 miles less for a free flight. The airline said that this can be overcome on the condition that the passengers combine their promotional miles with their previously earned miles on Spirit Airlines. By launching this scheme, Spirit Airlines has acknowledged that airlines do mess up with their passengers, and it is no exception like any other airline.
