Spirit Airlines seasonal Atlantic City-Boston flights resume

Spirit Airlines recently announced that its seasonal summer service from Atlantic City International Airport to Boston to be operated daily has resumed.

Last year, the airline had said that Spirit Airlines flights on Atlantic City-Boston route would not run in the fall and winter months. The year-round Boston route had been launched by the airline in 2009.

Passengers will be able to make Spirit Airlines flight reservations on more routes to be added by the airline as the summer approaches.

The airline said that its seasonal service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport as well as to Detroit will resume from May 3, 2012.

In February this year, the airline had also said that it will start a daily route to Atlanta from May 17, 2012.

Bart Mueller, Executive Director of the South Jersey Transportation Authority, said that it is a matter of great satisfaction and pleasure that Spirit Airlines has once again decided to meet the demand for air service to Atlantic City from key markets starting with the return of daily service to Boston.
