Sun Country Airlines enter into interline agreement with Condor

Sun Country Airlines recently signed an interline agreement with Condor, a Germany-based leisure airline. The new cooperation between the two airlines will enable Condor to add new flights to U.S. destinations from summer season in 2015.

The two airlines are already into a cooperation agreement which provides opportunity to the customers of Condor on its twice-weekly Frankfurt-Minneapolis route to connect on flights operated by Sun Country Airlines to various U.S. gateways including Chicago Midway, Los Angeles, Seattle Tacoma and Dallas/Fort Worth. The flights between Frankfurt and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport are being operated on every Mondays and Thursdays every week.

Apart from Sun Country Airlines, the German leisure carrier Condor is also into a similar cooperation agreement with Alaska Airlines which helps Condor’s customers to connect to U.S. cities including Hawaii, Oregon, Las Vegas and Seattle.

Jens Boyd, Condor’s Head of Long-Haul, said that the airline is delighted to add Minneapolis-St. Paul to its network. This will provide the customers maximum flexibility and enhanced travel options. The association with Sun Country Airlines will be particularly beneficial to the customers as it has come just at the start of the travel season.

Similarly, John Fredericksen, Sun Country Airlines’ President and Chief Executive Officer, has also expressed his happiness with the current agreement with Condor and hoped that the airline’s customers will be able to get a great flight experience.

Condor already has an extended flight program for travel from the U.S. The destinations presently serving Condor’s passengers from U.S. gateways include Fairbanks, Anchorage, Seattle, Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale and Baltimore/Washington.
