Asiana Airlines has pleasant news for the travelers, especially premier travelers. The South Korean airline is set to deploy the double decker Airbus A380 plane to Los Angeles this year. Interestingly, the airline is only the eleventh carrier in the world to sport the massive A380 series aircrafts in its fleet. This super jumbo jet is set to take off on its maiden journey to the thriving United States destination in July.

The Seoul headquartered airline said that it is preparing for the grand launch of upgrading the Los Angeles service with this aircraft. The business class flights between Seoul and Los Angeles will boost the commercial prospects in both these cities. The South Korean capital as well as the Californian city share strong commercial ties. The launch of this plane on this international sector is being lauded by the business communities as a lot of travelers on this route choose to fly in the premier class.

Besides this service, the airline is also planning to deploy these planes to serve regional destinations like Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, and Tokyo. On a different note, the A380 to Los Angeles has been configured with three classes of which, 66 seats are available in the business class. The airline consists of an overall seating capacity for 495. Most of the seats in the Oz Business Smartium are available in the upper deck of the plane.

Each seat offers a direct aisle access, is equipped with a personal monitor, and is fitted with power points for portable electronic gadgets. Besides an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, delicious meals are offered at regular intervals.
