Aer Lingus opens new business lounge at New York JFK’s Terminal 5

Aer Lingus recently announced the opening of a new business class lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The lounge was opened at JetBlue Airways’ state-of-the-art Terminal 5. The opening of the lounge is aimed at the overall re-launch of Aer Lingus business class service.

A spokesperson of Aer Lingus said that the new business class lounge is a true reflection of the airline’s traditional Irish roots while it aims to provide comfort and relaxation to the customers. The lounge has been beautifully decked up with raindrop-shaped light fixtures, oak floors, natural-stone wall accents and pint glasses along the bar. The lounge promises the warmth of Ireland to Business Class and Gold Circle members before they start their journeys.

The customers are offered many facilities at the lounge. The prominent amenities here include revitalizing areas with shower and TV facilities, separate calming area with chaise lounge style seating, business center with complimentary Wi-Fi, pre-flight dining service with modern Irish cuisines, a wide selection of wines and spirits and also soups and sandwiches, and stunning views of airfield and the historic TWA Flight Center.

Aer Lingus and JetBlue Airways have been into partnership since 2008. Aer Lingus also became the first international airline to join JetBlue Airways at New York JFK’s Terminal 5 in 2012.
