Aer Lingus reveals new business class seats on long-haul routes

The national carrier of Ireland, Aer Lingus is all set to equip its A330 aircraft with new business class seats come March 2015.

The Vantage seats are created by Portadown based Thompson Aero with 22-inche width. The seat converts into a fully-flat 6ft 6-inches bed. In the cabin, 90% of the seats will have direct aisle access. Botany Weaving has furnished the seat covers, curtains and carpets. The cabin is equipped with built-in power points with USB power outlets and universal sockets with a large workspace. The mini tablets have been given a special stowage under the personal monitor. Laptops and phones can be stored in the designated stowage as well. The work light has a dimming feature which is standard for all the seats.

The best cuisines from the best Irish restaurants will comprise the new dining menu. The menu will change four times in a year depending on the seasonal ingredients. The customers traveling from JFK and Boston airports will be able to avail a pre-dine service, allowing them to sleep for the entire flight duration.

Multi touch 16-in HD monitors will feature 50% more new releases and 100% more television content. Exclusive HD games will also feature in this cabin class. This in-flight entertainment system will be available to the customers immediately after boarding till arriving at the gate. The seat also features a touch button massage function.

The corporate travelers can check-in through the dedicated US Stations with trained staff capable of answering all your queries. The customers can also avail fast track security at all the Dublin, Shannon and U.S. airports. A new arrivals lounge will also be launched at Dublin and a new departure lounge at JFK.
