Aeromexico Announces New Nonstop Daily Service to NYC

Mexico's global airline, Aeromexico announced recently the launch of new service between Monterrey International Airport and John F Kennedy International Airport. The airline will offer daily nonstop service on this route, beginning December 8, 2014.

Embraer 190 jet airliners fitted with 99 seats will be operating service on this route. Out of this 99, 11 seats will be offered under Clase Premier, Aeromexico's business class cabin. With this introduction, the airline will now offer direct flights to 17 domestic and international destinations from its main hub at Terminal B of Monterrey International Airport.

This nonstop service is scheduled to depart from Monterrey daily at 0850 hours and arrive in JFK at 1351 hours. Return flight will depart from JFK at 1500 hours and arrive in Monterrey at 1917 hours.

As per Anko van der Werff, Aeromexico EVP of Revenue Management, the airline is extremely happy to announce the launch of this new nonstop daily service between Mexico’s “northern capital” and Big Apple. This new route is part of our expansion plan to position Monterrey International Airport as one of our main hubs. With this passengers Mexican cities like Queretaro, Guadalajara, Bajio-Leon, Puerto Vallarta, and Aguascalientes will be able to connect to popular U.S. cities like Cleveland, Buffalo, Boston, and Cincinnati, using the service of Delta Air Lines, our codeshare partner.

Aeromexico at present offers connections to 23 destinations including Hermosillo, Chihuahua, Tampico, San Luis Potosi and Torreon in Mexico and six destinations in the U.S. including Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Antonio and Detroit.
