Aeromexico to begin flights on Monterrey-Houston route Nov 3

Mexico’s flagship carrier Aeromexico wants to increase connectivity to U.S. destinations further. The low-cost carrier recently announced it will be launching new flights to Houston and Torreon from Monterrey International Airport. The new services to the two destinations from Monterrey are scheduled to start from November 3, 2014.

Aeromexico in a statement said that it will start operating two daily flights to Houston from Monterrey. The airline will be using a 50-seater Embraer 145 aircrafts to conduct the flights. The new Houston-Monterrey route will be beneficial for the airline’s customers as they will be able to connect to these two destinations from Mexico’s major cities such as San Lhis Potosi, Hermosillo, Chihuahua, Bajio-Leon, among others.

The first flight AM 2092 will depart from Monterrey at 7 am and arrive in Houston at 8.27 am. The second flight AM 2093 will make departure from Monterrey airport at 9.30 am and reach Houston at 11.am. The first return service AM 2094 will depart from Houston at 5.25 pm and arrive in Monterrey at 6.52 pm on the same day. The second return flight AM 2095 will leave Houston at 7.55 pm and arrive in Monterrey at 9.25 pm.
 
Aeromexico also stated that it will start offering a daily service to Torreon from Monterrey effective from November 3, 2014. The flights will be operated with the help of an Embraer 145 aircraft configured with 50 seats.

The new flight AM 2906 will depart from Monterrey at 12.50 pm and arrive in Torreon at 1.50 pm. The return flight AM 2097 will make its departure from Torreon at 2.20 pm and reach Monterrey at 3.20 pm.

Aeromexico is also planning to begin flight services to Japan. The airline will begin its transcontinental operations between Monterrey and Tokyo from September this year. The airline will also be adding two daily service to Mexico City as well in the same month.
