Aeromexico to commence New York-Los Cabos flights in Jan 2014

Aeromexico, the flagship carrier of Mexico announced its decision to commence service between New York and Los Cabos. The carrier said it would launch direct flights between the city pair. The maiden flight on the route would commence operations from January 18, 2014.

Beginning January passengers would be able to book airline tickets with the carrier to fly nonstop between these destinations. The airline will use the services of Boeing 737-800 planes to fly round trip on this route. The flights between the two cities will operate every Saturday. The airline believes that this new route will prove to be beneficial in terms of profit. New York being a global and thriving city attracts business and leisure travelers from all parts of the world.

Therefore, the carrier expects this route to churn out revenues and prove to be a viable decision. Aeromexico that brands itself as Mexico’s global airline operates out of its main hub at Mexico City International Airport and Cancun International Airport. Los Cabos is located in the southern part of the country and is a popular tourist destination.
