Air Berlin to add more flights on Berlin-JFK route

Air Berlin, one of the top operating airlines in Europe announced its decision to add more flights on Berlin-New York route. The second largest airline of Germany is looking forward to expanding its presence in the United States and hence has decided to offer more options to travelers to the bustling East coast city.

The airline is keen to add three weekly flights between Berlin and New York in the summer of 2014. It launched the Berlin-New York service in 2010 and since has been getting a good response. Many travelers cheap book business class flights with the airline to travel the route. Berlin and New York are two different yet business centric locations in Germany and the United States.

If all goes well for the airline and the expansion follows as per the schedule, the airline will have ten weekly services between the city pair. Many travelers frequent the two destinations regularly and any additional service on the route is going to benefit them. Besides New York, the carrier plans to increase the number of flights on Dusseldorf-New York route as well. Additional flights will also offer ten flights a week between the cities making it more accessible to travelers. It is also contemplating to boost the flights between Berlin and Chicago to daily. The airline also flies to cities like Fort Myers, Los Angeles, and Miami in the U.S. from Berlin.
