Air Canada becomes the only Canadian carrier to offer business class service to New York

Air Canada recently announced the launch of its new flight services between Toronto Pearson International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. With the launch of its new flights between these two destinations, it has also become the only carrier serving all the three major airports in the New York City region from Canada.

Apart from the recently-launched flights to New York JFK, Air Canada is currently operating flights to Newark Liberty International Airport and LaGuardia International Airport from Canada. The airline will now operate up to 38 nonstop return flights per day between Canada and New York City this summer. The launch of the new route will also bring the flights services between New York and Canada to hourly basis. The flights to the New York metropolitan area will be operated from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver.

The airline in a statement said that the New York JFK flights will be operated out of Terminal 7, and will have early morning, mid-day and evening arrivals and departures. According to the airline, the New York service, with hourly flights now, is best suited for business travelers.

Air Canada is also the only Canadian carrier offering business class service with its flights to LaGuardia and Newark featuring Executive Class.
