Air Canada opens new Maple Leaf Lounge at Frankfurt airport

Passengers buying plane tickets on Air Canada will now have a great experience while boarding their flights at Frankfurt International Airport. Air Canada has recently opened its new Maple Leaf Lounge at the Frankfurt International Airport. This will be the airline’s fourth European lounge facility.

Air Canada, while providing details about the new lounge, said that this newly-opened 726 sq m facility is located within Departures Area B at Terminal 1. The lounge will be featuring a quite zone with six reclining pods equipped with personal TV screens, and a “spa-inspired shower area” with rain shower heads, ambient music and Escents spa products. The lounge will also be equipped with a business centre, free wi-fi, complimentary German and Canadian wine, beer and spirits, and a dining area with hot and cold food.

The lounge can be accessed by Air Canada Altitude Super Elite 100K, Elite 75K and Elite 50K members, Star Alliance Gold members, and customers travelling in Air Canada Executive First. The lounge will be opened daily from 0600 to 2200. Frankfurt International Airport is the second largest international hub of Air Canada. The airline operates up to five daily flights from Frankfurt to Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Calgary.
