Air China to begin second daily nonstop Los Angeles-Beijing flights on Boeing 777-300ER

Air China recently announced it will be launching its second daily nonstop flights services between Los Angeles and Beijing on the upgraded new generation Boeing 777-300ER aircraft starting from June 1, 2012.

The airline said in a statement that it started evening flight between Los Angeles and Beijing in February this year. This was also the first Air China flight from the U.S. to use the greener, cleaner and more fuel-efficient “triple seven”.

According to Air China, the “triple seven” has a wider cabin than on any existing aircraft, and is specifically designed for providing maximum comfort and convenience to passengers. The Forbidden Pavilion First Class of the airline features 8 luxury suites. The aircraft also has 41 flat beds in the Capital Pavilion Business Class, while there are 259 seats in Economy Class equipped with individual monitors and AVOD (audio-video on demand).

Air China’s premium passengers taking First and Business Class flights are offered with a personal “meet-and-greet service” on arrival in Beijing. An English and Chinese bilingual Air China agent meets the passenger at the gate; escort him/her to immigration, baggage claim and customs all the way to the main exit at the arrival level for ground transportation.

Premium passengers taking Air China flights on domestic or international routes can also relax in luxurious business or first class lounges in Beijing between flights or before boarding.
