Air China to launch additional flights to New York from Oct 26

Air China is all set to increase its flight frequencies to the United States. The airline recently announced it will be launching additional flights to New York from Beijing effective from October 26, 2015. The additional services are being introduced to cope up with the growing passenger demand.

Air China has until now been offering twice daily flights to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). With the launch of additional flights the airline will now be serving New York’s Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) thus offering flexible travel options for customers travelling between Beijing and New York. Air China will also become the only Chinese carrier to operate flights to Newark Liberty.

A spokesperson of Air China said that the airline decided to introduce flights services to Newark Liberty because of the ideal geographical location and well-developed transportation network of the airport. The launch of the additional flights to Newark Liberty is aimed at making travel to other U.S. cities easier with new connections.

The outbound Flight CA819 will depart from Beijing at 09:35 hours Beijing time and reach Newark Liberty at 11:05 hours local time. The inbound Flight CA820 will make its departure from Newark Liberty at 13:25 hours local time and arrive in Beijing at 14:55 hours Beijing time next day. The flights will be operated four times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline will deploy a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to operate flights on the Beijing-Newark Liberty route.
