Air France begins daily service to San Francisco from June 6

Air France will begin operating a daily service between Paris and San Francisco by Airbus A380 from Monday, June 6, 2011.

The daily service will continue up to September 4, 2011, over the summer period, aimed at offering its customers the opportunity to discover the West coast of the United States.

The super jumbo jet A380 is equipped with 538 seats – 9 seats in La Premiere, 80 in Business and 449 in Voyageur. Air France in a statement said that during the summer of 2011 the airline will be operating 10 weekly flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and San Francisco International Airport, including one daily flight of an A380. With this, Air France has become the second carrier to inaugurate A380 service to San Francisco.

Paris-CDG – San Francisco: Departure 10:30 - Arrival at 12:40

San Francisco – Paris-CDG: Departure 16:10 – Arrival at 11:35 the next day
