Air France inaugurates newly refurbished lounge at New York JFK

Air France has inaugurated its newly refurbished lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. The lounge will exclusively cater to the airline’s customers booking business class tickets. Customers traveling in La Première (First Class) and members of Flying Blue Elite Plus will also have access to this lounge.

The renovation of New York JFK lounge by Air France is being seen by many travel experts as intensifying the ‘club wars’, being currently indulged in to by several international carriers to attract high-end customers with the upgraded lounges and other amenities.

The wood and white tones accentuated by touches of red, which is Air France’s signature color, in the new brightly illuminated lounge is all set to provide customers a completely soothing and relaxing environment. A large mezzanine here offers the customers a scenic and expansive view of the runways.

To ensure a hassle free travel the airline’s agents seated at the reception desk would provide the required information about their travel to the customers immediately upon their arrival in the lounge.

The customers will be also able to treat themselves to a wide range of alcoholic beverages such as Champagne and French wines. A wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages will also be made available. Apart from this, the customers will also be able to satiate their hunger with two buffets featuring both cold and hot snacks.

The airline doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned in matters of providing optimum comfort to its customers while they wait to board their flights. While boasting of a relaxation area, the lounge is also equipped with free Wi-Fi service as well.
