Air France launches Paris-Abuja flights, offer 40 business class seats

Air France recently announced the launch of its new flights services between Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport and the Nigerian city of Abuja.
 
The launch of the new route is aimed at strengthening the airline’s network in Nigeria as well as complementing its continuous growth strategy in Africa.

The new nonstop flights on Paris-Abuja route is in addition to the daily flights being currently operated to Lagos and Port Harcourt.

The flights on these routes will be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft configured with three classes – 40 Business Class seats, 21 seats in Premium Voyageur and 147 seats in Voyageur/Economy Class. The aircraft will have a total capacity of 208 seats.

According to the airline, the Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be equipped with the new “full sleep” business class seats, which will be longer, wider and more spacious.

With the launch of this new nonstop route, Air France along with its partners will now be offering flights to 52 destinations in Africa in summer 2012, from its hubs at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Amsterdam’s Schiphol International Airport.
