Air France offers exclusive in-flight menu in business class

There are various airlines that have now started offering exclusive in-flight menu to their customers booking business class flights or traveling in first class on long haul destinations. The carriers have even hired the services of celebrity chefs to prepare some of famous dishes and offer to their customers on board their flights.

France’s national flag carrier Air France is now offering the creations of legendary Paris restaurant Le Grand Véfour chef Guy Martin to its customers booking business class tickets on long-haul destinations. The airline has since January this year been working in coordination with some of the top chefs, including the famous Joël Robuchon, who currently holds 26 Michelin stars.

Singapore Airlines was the first to offer exclusive dishes to its business class customers. The airline started the trend in late 1990s, when it established its International Culinary Panel involving top chefs from around the world. British Airways was the next to follow suit, when it employed a distinguished Culinary Council and recruited some of the top chefs from leading restaurants.
