Air France rebrands Premium Eco, Premium Voyageur and Alizé cabin classes to Premium Economy

Air France recently announced it has decided to rebrand its cabin classes. The rebranding will be effective from October 28, 2012.

The airline in a statement said that the rebranding of all its cabin classes is being undertaken for standardization purposes, and making it more international and easier to understand for the customers.

According to the airline, the Premium Affaires and Affaires cabin classes will now be known as Business Class.

The customers booking premium economy flights on Air France will now see the rebranding of the premium economy cabin. The Premium Eco, Premium Voyageur and Alizé cabin classes will be known as Premium Economy.

The airline has also renamed the Voyageur cabin class as Economy Class. However, the name La Première, which is currently being used on long-haul routes, will continue to remain unchanged.

Air France said that its customers are already aware of the generic air transport terms and it, therefore, has decided to adopt these terms for its travel classes.
