Air France revamps business class to compete with Gulf airlines

These days it’s all about the ultimate luxury 30,000 feet above in the air. And, international airlines are leaving no stone unturned to disappoint their customers. Not to be left behind lately in the race is Air France.
 
Air France, the national carrier of France, now wants to aggressively compete with Middle East carriers such as Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways, which have already established themselves as the global flag-bearers for airline luxury.

If you are booking business class flights on Air France then you are surely the lucky one. The airline has decided to revamp its business class cabins and want to offer a luxurious on board experience to its customers.
After introducing its new business class products on flights to New York and Singapore, Air France said that Dubai will now be its third destination to receive the newly-upgraded business class cabins.

Air France will now be offering fully-flat leather seats in its business class. In fact, the fully lie-flat seats have become the latest trend for the travelers from the Gulf. If the airlines don’t offer these then they will be left much behind in the race.

The airline is offering upgrade business class product on its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft being operated on Dubai-Paris route. The airline will provide new amenity kits to its customers, which will consist of a padded sleep mask, mouthwash, lip balm, skin cream, shoehorn, comb, earplugs, toothpaste and toothbrush. A pen and shaving kit will also be available upon request. Air France has indicated that it will be opening its new business class lounge at Dubai International Airport this year.
