Air India is all set to provide connectivity between Israel and India. The airline has planned to expand frequency of flights on its route between New Delhi-Tel Aviv. This is mainly because of the growing demand for Israel as a major tourist spot. The Israel Ministry of Tourism has recently analysed a growth rate of around 58 percent and has recorded that from January to September 2018, 48,800 tourists from India have arrived the destination.
Air India, the national carrier of India has decided to operate its five days a week service from DEL to TLV from 26th November 2018. The flights would be operated on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. However, before the introduction of five days service, the route was given a four-day week service.
The Israel Ministry of Tourism commented, ‘Due to the higher request for New Delhi to Tel Aviv flights, Air India has decided to expand the flight frequency between the two respective destinations. Soon to be started on 26th November 2018, the airline has provided five-day services.’
Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner would be used to operate the service. The aircraft features a seating of 256. It has been stated that the airline would leave from Delhi at around 16.50 pm and would reach Tel Aviv at 20.45 pm. While returning, the aircraft would start from Tel Aviv at 22.15 pm and arrive the national capital at 8.15 am the following day.
In addition, EI Al, Israel’s flag airline has come up with a latest Boeing 777200ER. Featuring four-class layout of business, Economy, Economy Plus and First, the aircraft has 279 seating arrangement for passengers. At present, it is referred to be the only flight that is operating non-stop weekly service on Mumbai to Tel Aviv.
