Air New Zealand Boosts its North American Schedule

Air New Zealand announced recently to boost its North American schedule. The airline will increase its frequency on its popular Los Angeles – Auckland route to thrice weekly from its present twice weekly service.

During the 2015 Northern Summer season, i.e. from April – October 2015, the airline will operate this thrice weekly service on every Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This additional flight will boost the overall airline capacity on this route by 20%.

The additional flight will depart from Auckland earlier than its regular service and arrive in Los Angeles by 0900 hours, giving passengers enough time to take same day connections to East Coast and Midwest US cities. Earlier departure will also aid passengers reach Auckland using convenient connections from Sydney and Melbourne.

Cam Wallace, chief sales & commercial officer for Air New Zealand said we have added additional service on this route on the basis of our customer feedback. Passengers flying to Los Angeles wanted to arrive early in the city, especially East Coast bound passengers. We are happy that we have been able to deliver the same.

Air New Zealand also announced increasing its capacity on Auckland-Vancouver route by 10% in 2015. The airline will operate five times weekly service on this route from June to September 2015. At present they are operating thrice weekly service on this route.
