Alaska Airlines cheap flights to Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale soon

Alaska Airlines recently announced that it will be launching new daily nonstop flights to Philadelphia and Fort Lauderdale from Seattle soon.

The airline said in a statement that the new flight services between Seattle and Philadelphia will start from June 11, 2012, while flights between Seattle and Fort Lauderdale are scheduled to begin from July 16, 2012.

The airline also said that it will discontinue flights to Miami with the launch of Seattle-Fort Lauderdale service. According to Alaska Airlines, Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports are about 27 miles apart, and it would not have much impact on the customers while changing the airport.

Alaska Airlines also offered cheap tickets to its passengers to celebrate the introduction of the new routes. The passengers took this opportunity to avail special discounted airfares to both destinations.
