Alaska Airlines launches new Portland-Atlanta nonstop service

It’s a dream come true for Portland residents, who had all the while looking for a nonstop service to southeastern city of Atlanta as well as seamless connectivity throughout North America.

This dream is being fulfilled by Alaska Airlines with its recently introduced nonstop service between Portland and Atlanta. The inaugural flight took off on August 26, 2013.

Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines’ Vice President of Marketing, said that within the last 12 months the airline has added eight new routes to its network. He said that even as the airline continues with its expansion from the Rose City, the airline is now bracing to launch yet another new service to Dallas-Fort Worth effective September 16 next month.

To celebrate the launch of its new nonstop Portland-Atlanta service, the passengers were offered cheap airfares starting $149* one-way. The fares would be valid for travel from September 9 through November 20. The passengers are also being offered double Mileage Plan miles on the route for travel between August 26 and October 31 this year.
