Alaska Airlines new iPhone and iPod Touch application unveiled

Alaska Airlines recently introduced a new application for iPhone and iPod Touch with several features for providing convenience and easy access to its customers.

The airline said that the customers will be able access their important travel information fast enough. Besides, they will also be able to check in as well as access their mobile boarding pass with this application.

The following are the new features of the new app: access to a mobile boarding pass; check in for flights; boarding information and track flight status; email flight alerts or create text; select and change seats; create a parking reminder; add notes for car reservations and hotel bookings; track Mileage Plan account information of Alaska Airlines; and access “My Trips” to view multiple flight itineraries.

Alaska Airlines also said that it is also planning to launch an Android app for the convenience of its customers later this year. Besides, the airline will also launch a refreshed mobile-optimized website to provide convenience to other mobile devices as well as tablet users.
