Alaska Airlines Permanent Fund Dividend sale begins

Alaska Airlines recently started its Permanent Fund Dividend sale offering airfares starting from as low as US$89*. The airline is also providing discounts on its select Vacations packages as well as 25% off on general cargo tariff rates for shipping packages on Alaska Air Cargo within state of Alaska up till November 18, 2011.

The airline said that special rates are being offered on routes including Lower 48 US states, Hawaii, Mexico and Canada from Alaska when the travel is booked latest by October 17, 2011.

According to Alaska Airlines, the customers are required a 14-day advance purchase for travel valid through August 11, 2012. Advance purchase is exempted for travel to Hawaii and Mexico.

• Anchorage-Portland (must be nonstop) – US$199* one-way
