Alaska Airlines report 7.6% traffic increase in August

Alaska Airlines recently announced its operational results for the month of August 2011.

The airline reported an increase in its passenger traffic by 7.6% as compared to 5.4% in the same month last year. The airline also said that the growth in passenger traffic has led to a 1.8-point rise in load factor bringing it to record 88.3% in August. Besides, the airline also said that 90.8% of its flights made arrival on time in August as compared to 88.8% during the same month in 2010.

Alaska Airlines is the leading low cost carrier in the United States and offers cheap flight deals to its customers on a continuous basis.
