All Nippon Airways sign codeshare agreement with Hawaiian Airlines

Japan’s leading carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) recently signed codeshare agreement with Hawaiian Airlines expanding their marketing and operational partnership. The codeshare agreement will allow both the carriers to operate flights within Japan and Hawaii.

With the codeshare agreement firmly in place now, ANA passengers have started booking connecting flights on Hawaiian Airlines between Honolulu and Kailua-Kona, Lihue, Hilo and Kahului through the Japanese carrier. The bookings commenced from January 19, 2012.

The partnership also allows Hawaiian Airlines passengers to book flights to Tokyo from Honolulu. Besides, passengers can also book connecting flights to Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Okinawa and other Japanese destinations directly through Hawaiian Airlines.

Earlier, All Nippon Airways started joint frequent flyer program with Hawaiian Airlines from December 27, 2011, allowing ANA Mileage Club members to earn and redeem miles on all Hawaiian Airlines operated flights. Simultaneously, Hawaiian Airline’s HawaiianMiles members can also earn and redeem miles on all ANA operated codeshare flights.
