All Nippon Airways to launch flights to Houston from June 12

Japan’s leading carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) recently announced it will be launching nonstop flights to Houston. The airline will be introducing new service between Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport effective from June 12, 2015.

The airline will be operating roundtrip flights once daily utilizing a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured with 250 seats. The customers will get options to travel in three cabin classes – 8 seats in First Class, 52 seats in Business Class and 190 seats in Economy Class.

Apart from All Nippon Airways, another U.S. carrier United Airlines is also providing nonstop flights services on Houston-Tokyo Narita route. Media reports said that the flight schedule announced by ANA has been perfectly times as it will be complementing the existing schedule of United Airlines. This will offer the customers departure options both in the morning as well as afternoon in each direction.
 
Osamu Shinobe, CEO of All Nippon Airways, said that the launch of the Tokyo Narita-Houston route is a proud moment for the airline. With the introduction of the new route, Houston will now become the airline’s 10th destination in North America. This will prove easy connectivity to all those traveling to Central and South America from various Asian countries, including Japan.

Shinobe said that both All Nippon Airways and United Airlines are into a joint venture partnership. He said that the launch of the new route is expected to increase the passenger demand and the expanded network by the two carriers will offer more flexibility and travel choices to the customers.
