Allegiant Air first flights to Hawaii Islands to be launched this June

Allegiant Air recently announced it will be launching its first flights to Hawaii Islands in June this year. The airline has started offering air tickets for its flights to Hawaii.

The airline in a statement said that it will start flights to Honolulu from Las Vegas from June 29, 2012. However, Allegiant Air flights from Fresno to Honolulu starting June 30, 2012.

Flights from Las Vegas will be operated thrice-weekly, while flights from Fresno will be offered once-a-week.

The airline will operate Boeing 757 jets on Las Vegas-Honolulu as well as Fresno-Honolulu routes. Allegiant Air acquired its first Boeing 757 jet in 2011 keeping Hawaii service in mind.

Andrew Levy, President of Allegiant Air, said that the launch of flights to Hawaii will be a great achievement for the airline. The launch of flight services to Honolulu from Las Vegas and Fresno also shows the commitment of the airline for a moderate growth plan.

Allegiant Air has added four Boeing 757 aircrafts in its fleet and plans to expand service to other mainland cities in the future.
