Allegiant Air launching Niagara Falls-Fort Lauderdale flight July 1

Here’s good news for those wanting to travel from Niagara Falls to Fort Lauderdale.

Now you will be able to book air tickets from Niagara Falls, as Allegiant Air is launching its flight services to Fort Lauderdale in July this year.

The parent company of Allegiant Air announced that the new flights between Niagara Falls International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will be launched from July 1, 2012, and will be operated twice every week.

The airline is offering fares between the two destinations starting at $94.99 one-way.

Andrew C. Levy, President of Allegiant Travel Co., said that the airline is delighted to offer affordable and convenient way for Niagara Falls and southern Ontario residents to travel to Florida.

Levy hoped that the community will appreciate the value of flying nonstop to Fort Lauderdale and the great deals being offered to them by the airline.

Recently, Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air became the second airline to start charging the passengers for carry-on baggage stowed in overhead bins. The Miramar-based Spirit Airlines was the first carrier to charge its passengers for carry-on baggage.
