Allegiant Air strikes hat trick - ranked best in North America

Allegiant Air was awarded the top-performing airline in North America by Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine.

The airline surpassed other US carriers and achieved the top performer award for three consecutive years. The airline provides various direct flights from the Provo Airport. It was also ranked second across the global aviation industry on the basis of its overall performance and was ranked first for second time in a row in the small carrier category.

Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine chose Allegiant as it excelled in trading added value travel services and ancillary charges. Not only this, the airline exceeded all its competitors and created a lucrative business prototype with utmost ease. The magazine first recognized this airline in 2010 as the best-performing low-cost airline across the globe.

The carrier also has a record of being the best for five years in average score globally. In addition, the airline acquired the best performing airline in 2013 thereby capturing the number one position for overall best-performing worldwide, best-performing in North America, and best-performing in small carrier.

As per the magazine the study of best performing airlines is based on fiscal results from the whole year. It has measured airlines of the world objectively and the metrics involved in the decision making include performance, earnings, asset usage, liquidity, financial wellness, and fuel price management. The data for the metrics were input from industry leaders and were refined for judging the top performance. The data and ranking can determine which airlines will grow and which are still vulnerable grounded on industry landscape, geographic region, and business prototype.
