Allegiant to commence direct service to Orlando and Ft. Myers

Allegiant Air has announced its decision to launch direct service to Orlando and Fort Myers. The second most fuel-efficient airline in the world said it plans to offer nonstop flights from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Orlando and Fort Myers.

The airline, which has been providing cheap airfares to millions of travelers in the United States, now plans to offer nonstop connectivity to Florida cities from Cincinnati. It expects to launch the new service from CVG to Orlando Sanford Airport (SFB) from February 12, 2014. The new route between CVG and Fort Myers/Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is set to commence from February 14, 2014.

The Las Vegas based airline is rapidly expanding its network across the United States. The management is extremely happy to include Orlando and Fort Myers to its itinerary from Cincinnati. It expressed confidence that the community will appreciate its efforts of offering nonstop flights to the two cities. These services are set to offer convenient modes of flying at low costs to passengers.

The airline will offer twice-a-week flights from CVG to Orlando. These flights will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays. As per the schedule, flights will depart Cincinnati at 5:45 pm and arrive in Orlando at 7:50 pm. The return flights will depart Orlando at 3:00 pm and arrive in Cincinnati at 5:05 pm.

The carrier will operate twice-weekly service between CVG and Fort Myers/Punta Gorda. The flights will depart on Mondays and Fridays. As per the schedule, flights will depart Cincinnati at 2:31 pm and arrive in Fort Myers at 4:39 pm. The return flights will depart Fort Myers at 11:30 am and arrive in Cincinnati at 1:51 pm.
