Allegiant to fly to Concord, make it 99th U.S. city

Allegiant Air announced that it would start nonstop service from Concord, making the city its 99th destination in the United States. The flights will operate on a twice-weekly basis between Concord and Sanford, Florida. The new service is set for December 20, 2013 launch.

This will be the budget carrier’s first ever-scheduled air service from the city. The Florida based airline is growing at a fast pace and is expanding its network across the United Sates. It is launching new routes and services to connect various destinations with each other.

The airline plans to celebrate the new launch by offering round trip cheap airfares starting from $99* to its customers. The airline believes to connect cities it terms as popular vacation destinations with nonstop service and at lost costs.

Andrew C. Levy, President of Allegiant said that the airline is delighted to offer its affordable and convenient flights to the people of Concord. He hoped that the community would benefit from and appreciate the upcoming nonstop service between the two cities.

The airport authorities also expressed their satisfaction at the carrier’s decision. They are eager to welcome the first departure towards the end of this year.
