Allegiant to Launch Seasonal Nonstop Service to Orlando

Allegiant Air will soon start flying nonstop flights between Orlando, Florida and Laredo, Texas. Beginning May 20 through mid-August this service will connect Orlando-Sanford International Airport to Laredo International Airport. This will be a seasonal service to be operated twice every week.

Allegiant for third-year in a row will offer this seasonal service. Operations on this route have been extremely successful in the past two years. This seasonal service will allow Laredo passengers to spend a vacation in Florida. Passengers interested in making plans must hurry up as tickets are booking fast.

Andrew C. Levy, President Allegiant said we are happy to announce the start of Orlando-Laredo service once again this summer. This is our third route from Laredo and we are convinced that this route will again prove to be successful making it a hat trick for us. We are known for our low-fares and by adding this route we will make the market more competitive benefiting customers the most.

The new flights will operate every Thursday and Sundays of the week beginning May 25 through August 10. Flights will depart from Orlando-Sanford at 0650 hours and land in Laredo at 0850 hours. Return flight will depart from Laredo at 0935 hours and land in Orlando-Sanford at 1330 hours.

Once this seasonal service is functional, Laredoans will be able to fly to Las Vegas, Daytona Beach/Sanford and Orlando/Sanford from the city. Allegiant will also expand its Las Vegas service this summer. The airline will now offer six weekly flights between Laredo-Las Vegas from its present twice a week service. Now passengers will be able to book tickets with six weekly flights on all days except Tuesdays.

Las Vegas based Allegiant Air is a low-cost carrier. Its main aim is to link passengers of smaller cities to foremost travel destinations frequented by leisure travelers.
